This project was originally for the Arts & Business Council of Miami, the project was to create content to display for a breakfast meeting. When I presented my idea, it got shut down due to the nature of the -almost gruesome- painting, but they encouraged me to go ahead and do this anyway so I did. Searching for paintings online, I came across this one and I contacted the artist, Paolo Pedroni, and within a week, he replied to me and gave me permission to use his artwork.
This was presented in a set of 6 screens forming a huge vertical one. This piece got shown at the Intercontinental Hotel and was the main attraction.
The most time consuming part was separating all the elements on their own, I did this with Photoshop and a lot of patience. I cut each element into its own layer in order to create the illusion of depth. Then I brought all the elements into After Effects! Watch it a couple of times to catch it all.
